That is how we like it best.<br /><br />Hugh has served us very well over the years steering us gently into the nooks and crannies of Venice. However, no matter how many times we return there are always more discoveries to be made.<br /><br />Florence will be next summer, we think, with Elvira to hand this time to guide the way.<br /><br />We are pleased with how the engraving looks in its oversized mount and somewhat elaborate frame. And so many places that I long to visit, but have yet to see, as well as your wonderful and insightful visit to Venice -- where I have been a few times and hope to visit again and again. My son lives not far from there and so we have had a knowledgeable guide -- but limited as he does not actually live and work in Venice. How extraordinarily wonderful to have such a wonder as Hugh to open up the mysterious and hidden wonders of the city. As my son is visiting us at the moment I shall be checking out his knowledge of the wonders you have described in the hopes that our next visit will offer us something really special.
